Keanu Reeves Doesn’t Think He Can Do Another ‘John Wick’ Film

Sounds like the days of John Wick films are numbered. In a recent interview while promoting Sonic 3, Keanu Reeves was asked about his revenge driven action series that is marking its 10th anniversary and if he plans to return to the franchise.

The actor said, “You can never say never, but my knees right now are saying, “you can’t do another John Wick”. So, my heart does [want to], but I don’t know if my knees can do it.” The next installment in the franchise is a spinoff film called Ballerina which will star Ana De Armas and is set around the time of John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum.

This could be the proverbial torch being passed, allowing the franchise to continue without putting pressure on Reeves and his knees. After some delays, Ballerina is due out on June 6th, 2025.
