The Trillion Dollar Kid is the latest addition to The Unbelievables universe, one of four that make up Image Comics' Ghost Machine imprint. The Trillion Dollar Kid will be joining the likes of The Rocketfellers and Hornsby & Halo, all while introducing a whole host of its own original characters. Apart from Tommy Townsend III, The Trillion Dollar Kid will mark the debut of his robotic bodyguard, Sterling Steele, and the supernatural members comprising the hit indie band, The Deadtones.

Johns recently opened up about the origins of The Trillion Dollar Kid, noting, "When Pete [J. Tomasi], Francis [Manapul], Peter Sneijbjerg, and I first started talking about the Trillion Dollar Kid and the expansion of The Unbelievables line of characters; the ideas never stopped flowing. The work behind developing Tommy Townsend and the other new characters debuting during the crossover became a great example of why we started Ghost Machine—it’s a place where we get to put our best ideas forward and allow the characters and stories to come first."

Two weeks before the release of The Trillion Dollar Kid #1 on July 17, fans will be able to pick up their very own copy of Ghost Machine: The Official Guidebook #3, one of four issues breaking down Ghost Machine's various comic book universes. The first two issues of Ghost Machine: The Official Guidebook will explore the world of The Unnamed, while the fourth issue of the series will focus on the dark future of Rook: Exodus.

The Trillion Dollar Kid #1 from Image Comics goes on sale on June 17.
