Miles Morales Returns Before Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse

Morales has indeed been as busy these days as his web-crawling counterpart, Peter Parker, and that's saying a lot when considering, from comics to the big screen, the latter is doing everything from a historic crossover with Superman to gearing up for a ton of surprises in his latest MCU blockbuster coming in late July.

Fresh off of getting active in the Ultimate Universe, he's back for more but, this time, he has other problems that have to be ironed out before they change everything for him and his family, forever.

Per the Marvel official solicitation: "THE NEXT ERA OF MILES MORALES: SPIDER-MAN STARTS NOW! MILES MORALES is back in black (and red)! What's the Latest on Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse?

The latest is a lot of news that will make fans of Miles Morales grin from ear-to-ear.

It begins with the fact that, after several delays, Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse is officially in the animation phase and voice actors have begun recording for their characters, the former being confirmed by a Marvel boss and the latter being made public by one of the lead actors in the franchise that also dropped a nugget that seemed a bit foreboding for his character.

And, as it stands, the film is still slated to be released in box offices globally on June 2, 2026, fingers crossed that continues to hold, but it likely will when considering Marvel literally restructured how departments are working together on Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse to hopefully streamline communication and to potentially end the root causes of the delays that also cropped up in 2018's Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and 2023's Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.

As it stands, all signs are go for Morales, and Miles Morales: Spider-Man #1 looks ready to add to the Spider-Man frenzy.
