Marvel Comics has teased the imminent arrival of the "All-New, All-Different" X-Men. Dubbed the 3K X-Men, the newest incarnation of the titular team will debut in May's X-Men #16.
Per the Marvel teaser, the "From the Ashes" X-Men series scribe Jed MacKay will write the issue with art by Netho Diaz. Ryan Stegman provides the cover art for X-Men #16, which pays homage to the cover of his first issue. Mackay and Stegman's post-Krokoan inaugural X-Men issue laid the seed for these new mutants by having Cyclops' Alaskan X-Men, including Psylocke, Kid Omega, Magik, Tempest, and the Juggernaut, go up against six adult-onset mutants activated by the shadowy and nefarious 3K organization. The group, which includes Professor Charles Xavier's telepathic twin sister, Cassandra Nova, has been producing new mutants by force-activating the X-Gene in adult human subjects.
