Minecraft has partnered with Oreville Studios to launch a brand-new, free Superman Skin Pack on the Minecraft Marketplace, celebrating the upcoming release of the highly anticipated Superman film hitting theaters on July 11.
This special skin pack includes five characters from the movie: Superman, Lois Lane, Green Lantern (Guy Gardner), Hawkgirl (Kendra Saunders), and Mr. Terrific. Each skin is modeled after the characters' appearances in James Gunn's new film, allowing players to step into the world of Superman within the iconic sandbox game. The pack was designed by Oreville Studios, known for their detailed and faithful recreations of licensed content.
Available across all Minecraft Bedrock Edition platforms, the Superman Skin Pack is completely free and can be claimed through the Marketplace by logging in and selecting "Get this Item." Since launching on July 8 at 5:00 PM UTC, the pack has already garnered over 12,500 player ratings, earning an impressive 4.6 out of 5 stars from the Minecraft community.
The release is part of a wider promotional campaign tied to the film's theatrical debut and encourages fans of both the game and the superhero to unite in celebration. Minecraft has also teased that a Superman-themed DLC is currently in development, promising additional content that expands beyond just character skins.
Minecraft, developed by Mojang Studios, remains one of the most popular games in the world, with over 170 million active players monthly. The Marketplace continues to serve as a key platform for collaborations like this, enabling creators such as Oreville Studios to bring beloved characters and universes into the Minecraft world.
Players are encouraged to download the skin pack today at Minecraft.net and join in the celebration by sharing their in-game experiences with #MinecraftSuperman.
