The Tick, starring Patrick Warburton, has officially made its way to a new streaming home, and fans don't need a subscription to revisit the classic superhero series for themselves. As of now, 2001's The Tick is completely free to stream on Tubi.

Based on the classic comic book character of the same name created by Ben Edlund as a mascot for the New England Comics chain, The Tick premiered on television back in 2001, seven years after the character came to life in his very own animated series. The Tick featured a leading ensemble cast including Patrick Warburton as the Tick, David Burke as his ever-trustworthy partner, Arthur, Liz Vassey as the incomparable Captain Liberty, and Nestor Carbonnell as fan-favorite Batmanuel.

Although The Tick only lasted for a single nine-episode season on Fox, the series was a hit with critics. As of the time of writing, The Tick holds an 88% "Certified Fresh" rating via review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes, as averaged across 24 verified critical reviews. The core cast of The Tick was rounded out by Brendan Hines, Yara Martinez, and Scott Speiser.
