Among the other creative teams taking part in the Black Panther 60th Anniversary Special are writer Evan Narcisse and artist George Jeanty, who will provide the framing story centered around the most unlikely Black Panther in Marvel history, Kasper Cole, as he searches for the missing T'Challa. Writer Murewa Ayodele and artist Eder Messias' story will find Storm recalling some of her most intimate memories of T'Challa, while writer Cody Ziglar and artist Alitha E. Martinez are set to provide readers with the Black Panther/Blue Marvel team-up they never knew they needed.

The release of the Black Panther 60th Anniversary Special is set to coincide with that of the first issue of a new four-issue limited series, Black Panther: Intergalactic. Written by Victor La Valle and illustrated by Stefano Nesi, Black Panther: Intergalactic will pick up in the wake of the events of Marvel Comics' recently concluded Imperial event, which saw T'Challa take to the stars as part of a sprawling story replete with all manner of cosmic heroes and villains.
