BOOM! Studios' Power Rangers comics reboot continues its sellout run with the series' third issue selling out at the distributor level. The publisher has announced a second printing.
The groundbreaking new Power Rangers Prime series comes from Melissa Flores, the scribe behind Power Rangers: Darkest Hour, along with art by Michael YG (Iron Fist). The new era in the Rangers Mythos debuted in November 2024 as a perfect "Day One" jumping-on point for both new readers and old fans of the franchise. Power Rangers Prime #1 has continued to sell out, with second and third printings announced. The second issue also received a second printing, which will go on sale Jan. 22.

Now, with Power Rangers Prime #3 selling out at the distributor level, Boom! Studios has announced a second printing that will feature brand new cover art by Jahnoy Lindsay (Superboy: The Man of Tomorrow). The new printing will hit stores on Feb. 19.

"Our launch of Power Rangers Prime has been wildly loved by the Ranger faithful," BOOM! Studios Vice President of Sales, Josh Hayes said in a press release announcing the second printing. "So we couldn’t be happier than to offer another chance for fans to jump on with a positively Morphinominal cover from Jahnoy Lindsay!"

With the launch of the new Power Rangers Prime series, BOOM! Studios is ushering in a bold new era with a brand-new cast of characters in the vein of Marvel's The Ultimates. Power Rangers Prime features a new team, a new mentor, and new threats to Earth, with the first issue seeing Angel Grove University students facing a difficult choice after crossing paths with a fugitive of legend. The upcoming third issue of the series is set to change the universe in new ways.
