Artist and cartoonist Sam Grinberg is returning to San Diego Comic-Con with a pair of exciting debuts. Best known professionally as a character designer on The Simpsons, Grinberg also creates his own comics, prints, and illustrations, filled with humor and a healthy dose of suburban weirdness.
This year, he’s bringing an all-new original comic to Small Press Table #D-05.
Floppy the Dog Plush Keychain — $29.99
Grinberg has teamed up with Youtooz for the company’s very first Artist Collaboration Series, which brings an original character to life. Floppy the Dog is a plush keychain ready to tag along on your jacket, backpack, or wherever your Comic-Con adventures take you.
Each Floppy purchase also includes a one-page comic revealing the pup’s backstory. (One intriguing detail: some of Floppy’s spots are actually tattoos… but Grinberg isn’t saying which ones.) The first 10 purchases will also receive a free Floppy enamel pin while supplies last.

The 35-page, 6.625″ x 10.25″ black-and-white comic makes its official debut at San Diego Comic-Con, with copies available for $10. Each purchase also includes a free sticker, while supplies last.
