The following contains spoilers for Reborn: Ultimate Impact #1, on sale next week from Marvel Comics

The Ultimate Universe is coming to a close, but no matter what happens at the end of that story, PART of the Ultimate Universe will live on in the Marvel Universe, courtesy of Spider-Man's (Miles Morales) visit to the Ultimate Universe during the recent Ultimate Incursion crossover event. One of the key parts of the Ultimate Universe is that the Maker (an evil version of Reed Richards from ANOTHER reality) has eliminated all superheroes from his version of Marvel's Earth.

Well, the Maker was put out of commission for two years by Howard Stark, who discovered just what the Maker had been up to (as the Maker had created a world without superheroes that he ruled with an iron fist), and Tony Stark (younger in this reality, so he became Iron Lad) used "origin boxes" to offer the origins to various superheroes years later (like offering the radioactive spider to Peter Parker as an adult, along with a basic summation of what Peter was MEANT to become, superhero-wise).

At the end of Ultimate Incursion, Miles Morales returned to the main Marvel Earth, but he brought some origin boxe with him, and in this CBR exclusive preview of Reborn: Ultimate Impact #1 (by writer Chris Condon, artist Stefano Caselli, colorists Marte Gracia and David Curiel, and letterer Joe Sabino), we see what happens to the origin boxes next!

THE ULTIMATE UNIVERSE’S LEGACY LIVES ON!

MILES MORALES returned from the Ultimate Universe with a plan: safeguard the ORIGIN BOXES – catalysts for the creation of new super heroes – before they fall into the wrong hands! But the secret is out as Miles’ battle over the boxes engulfs the entire Marvel U! This May, Chris Condon (ULTIMATE WOLVERINE) and Stefano Caselli (ULTIMATE BLACK PANTHER) team up to create stunning and unforgettable new characters on both sides of a conflict that will shape the future of the 616!

32 PGS./Rated T …$4.99

In the preview pages, we see that Miles Morales told Misty Knight when he returned from the Ultimate Universe, and she, in turn, told Miles to give the origin boxes to THIS world's Tony Stark, and MIles agreed. He worked out a time to drop them off with Tony, but as it turned out, Miles slept through his alarm, and missed the meeting with Tony.

When he woke up, he quickly headed off to meet Tony, calling him as he swings through the city with the boxes, apologizing for the delay (and inventing an excuse), but as he swings through the city, he is suddenly attacked by the teleporting villain known as the Spot.

The Spot steals the boxes from Miles, and vanishes! This is very bad news! If you want to see where the boxes go next, you'll have to pick up a copy of Reborn: Ultimate Impact #1 next week!
