Spider-Tracer: New 2025 Marvel Legends Spider-Man Figures!

1 month ago 21

Hi there, Spidey fans! It’s hard to believe that we’re almost done 2025, isn’t it? And wouldn’t you know it? It seems like Hasbro is going to try and get one more wave of Spider-Man Marvel Legends out before we enter 2026! Some foreign markets are already seeing these figures hit (Australia and Great Britain, for example), and some customers are reporting that Hasbro Pulse has informed them that these figures will be arriving soon (I’ve heard the 15th of December). So, with that said, I thought it would be a good time to take a look and see who’s in this new wave; several characters are getting a figure for the very first time!

Spider-Man 2099

While this isn’t the first time Miguel O’Hara is getting a figure (or even getting a figure on the Retro Spider-Man card), it is, without a doubt, surely the best one to date! The reds and blues really pop on this figure, and he’s even got toe articulation for those crouching poses! Miguel comes with his web cape and several alternate hands. This is a figure I’m particularly looking forward to!

The Uncanny Spider-Man (Nightcrawler)

Remember that time Nightcrawler pretended to be Spider-Man in his own solo series? Either way, Hasbro certainly did, and even included a sword for the swashbuckling hero. I think Kurt’s Spider-Man costume has a neat design, even if it’s obviously him under the costume (I mean, look at that tail and those pointed ears). He’ll really stand out in a Spider-Verse display, which is what I’ll be picking him up for. Well, that and for the Bamf effect!

Spider-Venom

Here, we have Spider-Man as he appeared in last year’s “Venom War” storyline. I’ll admit, I didn’t read this story, but Spidey using chains instead of webbing just strikes me as rather… odd. The figure comes with an unmasked Peter Parker head, though I’ll admit, it’s not a design I’m fond of. I can’t say the costume design itself does much for me, though it’s not terrible, either. Personally, I don’t see myself picking this figure up unless he hits a really decent clearance price.

The Owl

Before you ask, Hasbro slides Daredevil figures into Spider-Man waves all the time, which, over the years, has included Hand Ninjas, Elektra, and even Stilt-Man as a Build-a-Figure! That said, the Owl went to war with Doc Ock in the awesome “Peter Parker, The Spectacular Spider-Man” #s 72-79, so if you haven’t checked that story out yet, definitely do yourself a favor and give it a read if you can! I won’t spoil anything about it here. While Owl sports a classic look in that story, this figure is in a more modern look; I hope there’s a chance we can get a more classic look later on. Ironically, this Owl figure  (the character’s very first) reuses the “Spider-Man: No Way Home” Doc Ock body; ironic, no?

Cardiac

Cardiac, who first appeared in “The Amazing Spider-Man” #344, has never had a figure before! How crazy is that? He has a very toyetic design. It’s said that Erik Larsen is owed royalty money on Cardiac merchandise, and that this is why he’s never had a figure before. I’m not sure if this is true, but it might explain why it’s taken so long to get Cardiac in plastic form. I’m happy to see that he got his staff and a power effect, though I wish he had two of those effects, as well as no nose (seriously, why did they sculpt a nose on him?), but at this point, I’m just finally glad that I’ll be able to add him to my Spider-Man villains shelf.

Hypno-Hustler

Obscure characters getting figures like this are one of the big reasons I continue to buy Marvel Legends! Had you told me a few years ago that the Hypno-Hustler would be getting a figure, I wouldn’t have believed you! But he’s here! And someone obviously put a lot of love into this figure. He has a groovy new head sculpt with the hypnotic effects painted on his goggles, a microphone, his guitar, and even an alternate hand holding a pick! And if that wasn’t enough, he comes with gas effects that emit from his boots, which he used in his first appearance (“Peter Parker, The Spectacular Spider-Man” #24). Simply plug the effects into the front of his boots, and he’s ready to attack ol’ Web-Head. If you haven’t guessed, this is the figure I’m most excited to get! He’ll really stand out amongst the other Spider-Man villains on my shelf!

Which figures will you guys be picking up from this wave? Let me know in the comments section below, and happy holidays!
