The Winchester brothers, Dean and Sam, are back in action with all-new stories from Dynamite Entertainment, and after a hit first issue of the series introduced the concept for the series (these are all adventures set towards the end of the first season, before the brothers reunited with their father, John), CBR has an exclusive preview of the second issue of the series,
Supernatural #2 is from writer Greg Pak, artist Eder Messias, colorist Thyago Brandao, and letterer Jeff Eckleberry, and in the preview, we see the Winchesters heading to Las Vegas for some paranormal hijinx.

Hunting monsters is a rewarding calling, but it doesn't exactly pay well (or, really, at all). Sam and Dean are just about broke when Dean hits on the idea of raising funds the old-fashioned way - by gambling what little cash they have at a casino.
After settling in to see if his brother can manage to lose gracefully, Sam makes a new friend at the bar. Strangely enough, this sympathetic siren seems to have an uncanny ability to change the brothers' fortunes for the better - or possibly for the very worst!
Comic book sharks GREG PAK and EDER MESSIAS go all in on Supernatural #2, with cover art by CLAYTON CRAIN, DAVID COUSENS, EDER MESSIAS, and a special cast PHOTO cover all added to sweeten the pot!
In the preview pages, we see a mysterious person (demon? human? It's unclear for now!) arrive in Las Vegas in 1961. We then cut to present day, when a man is seemingly murdered at a Vegas pawn shop. We then see the Winchester brothers arrive in Las Vegas. They need some money to help finance their demon hunting, and Dean has a plan for them to win money playing Blackjack.
However, as soon as they arrive in the casino, and begin to play Blackjack, they keep losing. Sam takes a break from all of the losing to step in to help a woman who he thinks is being accosted. He pretends to be her cousin, and she appreciates the help, but also explains to Sam that there is more going on at the casino than he thinks, and that their "bad luck" might not be luck after all.
If you want to see what happens next, you'll just have to pick up a copy of Supernatural #2 when it comes out in two weeks!
