§ IFC Films dropped the full trailer for 100 Nights of Hero, the fantasy film based on the graphic novel by Isabel Greenberg, starring Emma Corrin, Maika Monroe, Nicholas Galitzine, Charli XCX, Richard E. Grant, Felicity Jones, and more. Directed by Julia Jackman, the movie (rated PG-13) releases in theaters on December 5.
§ Netflix shared the first piece of casting for One Piece season three, revealing Tony Award-winning actor Cole Escola (Oh, Mary!) will play flamboyant assassin Bon Clay. In the manga, the character is described as an okama, an often controversial word for an effeminate or cross-dressing man, but Deadline states they will (like Escola themself) simply be portrayed on the show as non-binary. Season three will begin filming before the end of the year, before season two releases in early 2026.
§ Mad Cave announced the winners of their 2025 talent search. In first place for the respective writer, artist, colorist, and letterer categories were filmmaker Jennifer Liao (From), Argentina’s Agus Calcagno, Pedro Estouco, and Marina Leon. In second place in those categories were Baltimore’s Devon L. White, Italy’s Gabriele Falzone, Mexico’s Edson Jimenez, and New Jersey’s Chase Snyder. Congratulations to all the winners – we anticipate Mad Cave will publish work from them very soon.

She was 75 years old, and had been married to Don since 1980; additionally, she had been battling Alzheimer’s for several years. Rosa, who is best known for his work on Scrooge McDuck comics, stated “though I should not write this sorta thing, I am feeling very upbeat that Ann did not hafta suffer through ‘3 to 6 months’ or more of that sort of misery,” and added he would return to attending conventions next year. “I look forward to seeing many of you old friends yet again, and making new friends as well. Or should I say family members?”
