There's good news for The Witcher fans, as some of the franchise's best stories are making their way onto a new platform. Dark Horse's back catalog of The Witcher comics is now making its way to WEBTOON.
IGN shared a preview of how the Dark Horse comics will look in their new WEBTOON format, and the result is a visually stunning, vertical scrolling adventure that captures the feel of the original comics but in a way that will read perfectly on mobile devices. The collaboration between WEBTOON and Dark Horse is set to kick off on Mar. 9, 2026, at 5 p.m. PT, with new installments added to the platform weekly. The Witcher: House of Glass will be the first title to make its WEBTOON debut. As part of the collaboration, Dark Horse's Cyberpunk 2077, Critical Role, and Avatar: The Last Airbender comics will also be added to WEBTOON.
The Witcher's Comics Adventures Go Mobile with New WEBTOON Adaptations
The Witcher: House of Glass was written by Paul Tobin with art by Joe Querio and colors by Carlos Badilla. The story is set in the world of the Witcher video games, extending the universe with a story of Geralt meeting a widowed man whose wife has returned as one of the undead, residing in a mysterious mansion known as the House of Glass.
The Witcher: House of Glass was originally published by Dark Horse in 2014 and has been released both digitally and physically over the years, including a special hardcover collected edition. Its arrival on WEBTOON will now give fans who haven't checked out the story over the past decade the chance to explore one of The Witcher universe's darkest stories, all from the comfort of their phone.
Details about future Witcher releases on WEBTOON have not been announced at this time, but are likely to follow after House of Glass finishes its new publication. In 2015, Dark Horse followed up the miniseries with Fox Children, a series that shared the same creative team of Tobin, Querio, and Badilla. While House of Glass was a new story, Fox Children was based on one of the chapters in Andrzej Sapkowski's Witcher novels, with Geralt boarding a ship and uncovering a passenger with a dark secret.
Dark Horse Has More Witcher Stories Planned for 2026

Later this year, The Witcher: The Last Wish is set to be released, giving fans a sixth graphic novel adaptation of Sapkowski's acclaimed short story collection. The Last Wish is planned to hit comic book stores on Aug. 11.
"Driven by unhealthy curiosity, Dandelion breaks a magic seal and unleashes a djinn whom he hopes will grant his wishes. Instead, the creature attacks him, leaving him with wounds only a mage can heal," Dark Horse's description of the new graphic novel reveals. Geralt will later find himself enchanted by a beautiful and dangerous sorceress — the fan-favorite Yennefer of Vengerberg.
The Witcher: House of Glass will be available in WEBTOON format on March 9, with new installments being added weekly to the platform.
