Titan Comics has made the jump to Lunar Distribution amid Diamond Comic Distributors' bankruptcy woes. However, the publisher is not breaking ties with Diamond, announcing a non-exclusive agreement with Lunar to distribute its titles and merchandise to the comic book Direct Market.

The news arrives via Titan Comics Co-Publishing Director Ricky Claydon. "BREAKING NEWS! Titan Comics Reaches Deal With Lunar Distribution," he wrote on LinkedIn. "Titan Comics announces a non-exclusive agreement with Lunar Distribution to distribute its publications and merchandise to the comic book Direct Market. The new partnership is in addition to Titan's existing relationship with Diamond Comic Distributors. Titan's products will go live with Lunar on March 21, for product shipping in June 2025."

Titan joins the exodus to Lunar, with Massive Publishing announcing last month that it was partnering with Lunar for direct market distribution of its titles and imprints. Massive's switch to Lunar came with the launch of the company's newest initiative: Massive Indies, a sub-distribution program aimed at helping independent publishers and self-published studios get their works into comic book shops.

Shortly after Diamond Comic Distributors, Inc. filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, Image Comics went a step further than Titan and Massive. The publisher moved to Lunar, no longer allowing Diamond to distribute its titles. Starting during the pandemic with DC Comics, other publishers, including Marvel, IDW, Dark Horse, and BOOM! Studios left their exclusivity agreements with Diamond.
