Jason is an award-winning journalist whose writing career dates back to when he developed the ability to use a crayon. He, most notably, worked previously as a "professional fan," as he likes to call it, at CinemaBlend, for which he wrote about anything and everything under the pop culture umbrella... especially Batman. His passion for the art of cinema began even earlier, stemming from repeat viewings of The Wizard of Oz.
This initially led him to pursue a career in filmmaking -- and even work briefly in the industry as an extra in the straight-to-video family film, Alice Upside Down -- before deciding that his talents would be better served discussing and showing appreciation for the various forms of entertainment he is passionate about.

Fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe have been waiting for years to see a payoff to the conclusion of the hit Disney+ original series, WandaVision, specifically the moment when "White Vision" (Paul Bettany) flew out of the Westview Anomaly and into the unknown. Well, the whereabouts of the android Avenger's replica will no longer be unknown upon the premiere of VisionQuest, of which new developments have been revealed.

According to an exclusive report by Variety, the VisionQuest cast has expanded. Now added to the ensemble are relative newcomer Lauren Morais and popular English comedian Diane Morgan.

Morais is set to play Lisa Molinari, who is described as having a close connection to Vision and Wanda "Scarlet Witch" Maximoff's son Thomas "Speed" Maximoff, played by Ruaridh Mollica. In Marvel Comics, the character is known as Coat of Arms, because she has six of them, and first appeared in Paul Cornell and Mark Brooks' Dark Reign: Young Avengers Vol. 1 #1. Morgan's role is currently unnamed, but is known as an associate of Paladin, a bounty hunter targeting Vision, who is played by Todd Stashwick.

Lisa Molinari is easily the biggest role yet for the Wales-born Lauren Morais, who made her acting debut in the BBC original dark comedy series, Tree on a Hill, which she followed with more serious fare, such as the AMC+ exclusive miniseries, The Red King and Paramount+'s The Crow Girl, more recently. Diane Morgan is already well-known in the world of comedy, especially in the U.K., for playing clueless television reporter Philomena Cunk in various titles, most recently the Emmy-nominated mockumentary special, Cunk on Life, from 2024.

What Else To Expect From VisionQuest

From creator Terry Matalas, previously known as the showrunner for Star Trek: Picard's second and third seasons, VisionQuest is a sequel to WandaVision, essentially. The 18th TV show in the MCU continuity will follow White Vision — imbued with the memories of his "original" counterpart, who had been killed by Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War and temporarily resurrected by Wanda Maximoff for the Westview Anomaly — on a journey of self-discovery.

The first trailer for VisionQuest was shown exclusively at New York Comic Con in Oct. 2025, and revealed many exciting and curious details about the series. For instance, the preview depicts the eponymous android in his human form and sees him joined by personifications of other AI-generated beings previously introduced in the MCU, including J.A.R.V.I.S. and even Ultron.

Joining Paul Bettany, reprising his Emmy-nominated role, in the VisionQuest cast as these humanesque AIs are three-time Emmy winner James Spader retuning as Ultron, Orla Brady as F.R.I.D.A.Y., James D'Arcy as J.A.R.V.I.S. and Emily Hampshire as E.D.I.T.H., to name a few. There is also frequent Mike Flanagan collaborator T'Nia Miller as the robotic Jocasta and the aforementioned Todd Stashwick as Paladin and Ruaridh Mollica as Tommy Maximoff, who was revived in an adult body by his twin brother, Billy, at the end of Agatha All Along.

Anyone hoping to see Elizabeth Olsen coming back as Scarlet Witch in VisionQuest should probably temper their expectations. The actor recently told Inverse that she did not know anything about the series until Bettany told her about it personally, which could just be another example of a Marvel movie star stretching the truth about their involvement in an upcoming project. Either way, Olsen says that Bettany is very proud of the series, and she is excited to see it herself.
