War Machine breaks into a U.S. Army base, suspecting that the Ultimo research is being done there.
He’s right.
Norman Osborn is aware of it, and we see him tell American Eagle to stop Rhodey—but Strongbow declines and instead helps War Machine by prying an eyeball out of an attacking Ultimo head. Rhodey can then use his armor’s new ability to absorb tech, incorporates the eye, and uses it to figure out whwere all the other Ultimo CPUs are located.
In the background, Tony Stark is watching and decides it’s time for him make a “move.” We don’t yet know what side he’s on.
This continues to be a book that hits above its expected weight class, but this issue has three different pencilers, which is distracting.
