More Daniel Way Wolverine. Hoo-ray.
After being stabbed by his son Daken and left wounded, Logan gets away from S.H.I.E.L.D. (who can’t seem to do anything right).

The best part, though, is HOW he escapes. After slashing his way through generic agents, he finds a mysterious coat and hat, with no scent on it, that was obviously left to help him. Yes, that’s right. He escapes using the TRENCHCOAT DISGUISE! This is one of the rare examples of this disguise actually working (see the tag below) and it goes a long way to establishing SHIELD’s incompetence. Director Stark should be fired.
Of course it was Daken who left it for his daddy. He’s got a girlfriend. And they have stupid arguments.

He also keeps her drugged and he believes he is the “inheritor of the Earth.” So he’s psycho.
It just gets worse from here. Cyber returns. If you don’t remember him, you’re better off. He sucks. He killed one of Wolveirne’s girlfriends and I thought he had killed Cyber but I guess not. Cyber’s body died but now he jumps around into human hosts that, of course, die after he possesses them. Tinkerer helps Cyber.

Daken keeps stabbing Wolverine. And Wolverine keeps stabbing him back.
They’re both trying to get the last remaining doses of the serum that negates their healing factor. Wolverine ends up with it, and he sends it Winter Soldier for safekeeping. It’s implied that he may need Bucky to kill him some day. Why? Why would Wolverine need that? Do you care? I don’t. It’s stupid.

Cyber beats on both Logan and Daken until Wolverine beats cyber up and tells him some historical information about Sabretooth from the 1910s that really doesn’t matter. But we have to have a sequence like this because the title of the series is “Origins,” which means it will be used to fill holes that nobody ever wanted filled in.
While Logan and Cyber are having their conversation, Wild Child is torturing Daken and telling him not to go after Logan any more because their mutual “master” commands it. We don’t know who that “master” is yet and…I really don’t care.
