It’s a halloween issue with all kinds of cool creators! Beast and Iceman investigate a “museum of oddities” that contains a mutant child. It seems to be intended as a stand-in for DC’s old “House of Mysteries” horror anthology.
Very cool.
Then, Magneto drinks too much coffee and has to use his powers to access the bathroom, the kids meet a mutant beatnik poet, Blob robs a bank, and Kitty Pryde–! Wait. Kitty is NOT part of the First Class! OK, but here she and her pet dragon Lockheed listen to Cyclops tell the story about how the old team first met Dragon Man.
Very cute. And speaking of cute, the issue closes with a Colleen Coover story about Professor X having Jean Grey figure out why ducklings are adorable.
Another fantastic issue of a fantastic series.
