Brian Michael Bendis sure is trying to get people to dig Clint Barton’s “Ronin” persona. He’s the focus of this one-shot. He’s made a public pledge to kill Norman Osborn, which means he makes Norm’s “List.”
The other Avengers try to convince Barton that killing is “wrong” but Barton still breaks into Avengers Tower and manages to single-handedly dispose of the Dark Avengers. Which is ridiculous.
The only one he can’t beat is Osborn himself, and he winds up captured.
I hope there’s a good plan for where this is going, because this issue was far-fetched and dumb.
