
Perhaps due to the fact that Daredevil writers plot out over a year worth of comics at a time, Daredevil’s main series has largely been immune from the mandatory Dark Reign tie-ins until now.
In his own book, Daredevil has just been invited to become the leader of the ninja assisting group known as The Hand. Here, he goes through the initiation to win the job.



Norman Osborn doesn’t like DD being in charge of a bunch of undercover operatives who disrupt the balance of the underworld, so he send Bullseye to kill him. This pisses Daredevil off, and he decides to go after Osborn.
Meanwhile, Kingpin acts like DD vs Osborn was his idea all along.
These are fairly standard story beats for Daredevil, using fairly standard characters for his “big” extended storylines. The facts always differ a little, but almost all DD story arcs have his ego taking him somewhere that alienates him, his enemies destroying his life, and then him finally winning but needing to build back again.
