Alan Davis! That alone makes this worth reading.
This issue takes place after Cyclops establishes Utopia on the island made from the ruins of Asteroid M. Norman Osborn decides that two mutants, Emma Frost and Namor, have made his “list” because they were part of his “Dark Illuminati” cabal and betrayed him.
He sends a genetically engineered sea monster to attack Atlantis, and the X-Men help him kill it.

Turns out, though, that the sea monster was Marrina in her monster form. So, she dies in this issue.
It ends with the Atlanteans joining the X-Men as part of their Utopia Nation.
Okay, the formation of a joint mutant/Atlantean nation is enough to warrant a one-shot, plus an original member of Alpha Flight dies.
The List one-shots have been pretty good so far. This one is, too.
