This coming Wednesday, Matt Fraction kicks off not only his run on Batman, but also a complete renumbering of the title (the third in the series’ history). While the previous run actually won’t be finished until October, the two will run concurrently until Jim Lee and Jeph Loeb conclude their H2SH story. Regardless, Fraction’s Batman promises an all new costume, new stories, and a new era for the character.
This is clearly meant to be a big moment and a jumping on point for new readers. As such, DC has pulled out all the stops, including a special video teaser trailer showing off what’s to come:
