Funko has announced a new limited-edition Pop! Heroes figure celebrating one of the most iconic moments in comic book history: Clark Kent opening his shirt to reveal the legendary "S" shield of Superman.
The collectible will be released as an official exclusive at Emerald City Comic Con, taking place March 5th - 8th, 2026, at the Seattle Convention Center in Seattle, WA. As one of the premier pop culture events in the United States, Emerald City Comic Con annually draws tens of thousands of fans, making convention exclusives among the most anticipated releases of the year.
Rendered in Funko's signature stylized design, the figure captures Clark Kent mid-transformation in his classic reporter attire, complete with glasses and overcoat, as he reveals the emblem beneath his shirt. A comic-inspired speech bubble reading, "This looks like a job for... SUPERMAN!" enhances the storytelling element of the piece, paying tribute to a defining visual moment that has resonated with audiences for decades.
Limited to just 1,500 pieces, the Emerald City Comic Con exclusive underscores Funko's continued focus on producing highly collectible, event-driven releases for dedicated fans. Given the limited production run and the enduring popularity of Superman, the figure is expected to be one of the most sought-after DC collectibles at the convention.
