Hercules Unbound #1 - Wally Wood art + 1st appearance

Hercules Unbound v1 #1, 1975 - The mythical god 

breaks his chains, only to find himself in the post-apocalyptic world of Jack Kirby's Kamandi. Here he befriends a blind teenager named Kevin and his dog Basil. Jose Luis Garcia Lopez's pencils are made more dynamic by Wally Wood's sensitive inks. Mutants, sea creatures and minotaurs are all drawn with entertaining flair (see interior page below). This issue also includes cover art by Ernie Chua.
