DC Studios today unveiled the first official full look at Milly Alcock's updated Supergirl suit which will be featured in the upcoming 2026 DC Universe film. Having made her debut as the Girl of Steel earlier this year in "Superman" (2025), Alcock is set to take center stage next summer in her own solo feature as part of the studio's expanding cinematic lineup.

The highly anticipated costume reveal comes during the CCXP25 comic convention currently taking place in São Paulo, Brazil., where DC Studios has the updated suit currently on display as part of their interactive booth. While no trailer has been scheduled for release yet, audiences can expect any forthcoming footage to showcase the suit in dynamic action.

At CCXP, the film is being highlighted with a themed intergalactic bar booth, reinforcing the cosmic scope of Kara Zor-El's DCU adventure. Principal photography wrapped in May, positioning this project as DC Studios' next major theatrical release. The film, adapted from Tom King and Bilquis Evely's beloved "Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow" comic series, is written by Ana Nogueira and directed by Craig Gillespie.

With Alcock as Supergirl, the studio introduces only the second actress in cinematic history to headline a Supergirl feature - a milestone following the 1984 film led by Helen Slater. Prior to Alcock's portrayal, the last version of the character appeared on the big screen in 2023's "The Flash", where actress Sasha Calle starred in the role within the DCEU continuity.

Joining Alcock is an ensemble cast including Matthias Schoenaerts as Krem of the Yellow Hills and Eve Ridley as Ruthye Marye Knoll. Also returning is Krypto, Kara's loyal Kryptonian companion first introduced as part of Superman.

"Supergirl" is slated to release in theaters worldwide on June 26, 2026.
