For the next two months, Image Comics will feature Rob Liefeld’s Youngblood on variant covers across their publishing line. Tied to the upcoming relaunch of Youngblood, Liefeld’s first work with the characters in years, Image will send Shaft, Badrock, Chapel, Diehard, and more on a reconnaissance mission across the multiverse of their titles.
Youngblood (2025) #1 is rolling deep with a cavalcade of 27 retailer exclusive variants, 30 team-up variants, black & white variants, and incentive ratio variants in a flex that only raw Liefeld energy can bring.

1992’s Youngblood #1 marked the first Image Comics publication. Liefeld’s characters had previously debuted in 1987’s RAMM #1, but like Savage Dragon (which also debuted years earlier in an indie comic), Youngblood has become synonymous with Image and the era of comics the company ushered in.
