“A Night On The Town!”
The king has disappeared out of his balcony bedroom window! But where did he go? Councilor Tu and Brule the Spear-Slayer must act quickly to not arouse suspicion. Any word of Kull’s demise would cause panic throughout the city streets.
Valusia is a big place. If the two closest to the king are to find their friend, they must scour the area for clues. Wait! Is that a half emptied wine glass with traces of hallucinogens? Brule, rouse the Red Slayers! There is murder afoot!
Who ordered the assassination of the king of Valusia? Will two fishermen collect a handsome reward for their extraordinary catch? Does Dehla have any honor to save? Collect the series to find out!
Review
This was a solid story along the lines of the Man in the Iron Mask by Alexandre Dumas. Kull has faced tougher situations, however. The art is basic at its core, and the 3-D effects really work on some pages, and really dont work on others. In any case, if you are a fan of Kull, pick this one up for nostalgia purposes. I give the book three stars.
