DC Studios unveiled a trio of "Supergirl" (2026) life-sized statues of Kara Zor-El, Lobo, and Krypto the Superdog at the 2026 Mumbai Comic-Con which took place this past weekend at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai, India. The statues will soon be featured at select theater locations worldwide as part of the studio's global promotional campaign for the film.
Starring Milly Alcock as Supergirl/Kara Zor-El, the film also features Jason Momoa as the infamous intergalactic bounty hunter Lobo and David Corenswet reprising his role as Superman, further connecting the film to DC Studios' expanding cinematic universe.
Inspired by the acclaimed "Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow" comic storyline, "Supergirl" (2026) follows Kara on a cosmic journey alongside Ruthye Marye Knoll (Eve Ridley), a young girl seeking justice against the nefarious villain Krem of the Yellow Hills (Matthias Schoenaerts) while also exploring themes of loss, resilience, and vengeance. The film is slated for theatrical release on June 26, 2026, positioning it as one of DC Studios' most anticipated releases.
