Marc Spector takes a group of orphanage girls out to see a pop band called Podunk Slam…
…and it turns out they are knights in the service of satan.
And very loud.
It’s bad.
So bad that there is actually a joke about the spelling of a word, below: Spector or Specter…Which the people in the comic couldn’t possibly understand because they aren’t reading their own word balloons.
That is just stupid. And it takes the reader out of the comic.
Then, in the second story, Dazzler and Rogue go to a rock concert and go on stage with the singer. There’s a problem with the musician being unable to perform, and Rogue fixes it by absorbing his abilities and playing the synthesizer while Dazzler sings and glows.
Then there’s some pin-ups by random artists at the end.
