A house ad for the first Moon Knight solo adventure, in the pages of Marvel Preview, following his debut on May 27, 1975, in the pages of Werewolf By Knight. Doug Moench and Bill Sienkiewicz would soon go on to create Moon Knight Volume 1–one of the best Marvel series of the late 1970s-early ’80s.
MK was originally pretty much a cypher of Batman, with a few more pieces of flair, but he quickly developed into one of Marvel’s most original, intriguing characters.
