Marvel Spotlight v2 #7 on Star-Lord, 1980 - With passenger attached, Star-Lord takes flight while under attack by winged men. Outlines of glittering towers contrast against the darkened crags below. In between, Frank Miller's cover uses both line and shape to define the figures. The general visual appeal is somewhat offset by his mediocre layout and positioning of the main characters. Other artists in this copper age comic include Tom Sutton.
