Charlton Bullseye v1 #2, 1975 - Chock full of great artists from the bronze age, this edition features a Captain Atom tale by Steve Ditko. Somewhat haphazardly drawn, John Byrne's inks offer marginal improvement starting perhaps with the second page. The draftsmanship of Ditko's second tale, "Moonshift", is far more representative of his talent. Among the stand-alone illustrations, excellent Doomsday +1 and Rog 2000 portraits (Byrne) offset a poorly proportioned visage of Nature Boy (Don Newton) and a Captain Atom spread that looks suspiciously like Captain Marvel (Jim Starlin). Other artists in this bronze age fanzine include Joe Staton on E-man.
