NECA has announced the return of its Christopher Reeve Superman 1:4 Scale Action Figure, scheduled for release in January, 2026. First introduced in 2015, the figure quickly became a sought-after collectible among fans and sold out across retailers. Its upcoming reissue has been developed in collaboration with the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation and Warner Bros., ensuring the piece remains a faithful tribute to the actor's definitive portrayal of Superman in the 1978 blockbuster film.
The figure stands over 18 inches tall and has been designed with an authorized likeness of Christopher Reeve. It features screen-accurate detail from Superman: The Movie, a tailored fabric cape, and interchangeable hands to allow for a variety of display options. Each figure is packaged in a collector-friendly window box, making it suitable for either display or preservation in its original packaging.
Pre-orders are available now through Entertainment Earth, at a suggested retail price of US$141.99. Orders placed in advance are scheduled to begin shipping in January, 2026.
The reissue offers both longtime collectors and new fans the opportunity to own a piece that honors Christopher Reeve's enduring legacy as Superman, more than a decade after the figure's initial release.
