I don’t normally cover stories set in the MAX universe. This one is here because…It’s good. I mean, it’s ridiculously gory and violent but it’s also good. The main reason is the creative team: David Lapham is one of comics’ best noir writers and Turnbull has an “Image Comics” feel that is perfect for this kind of genre-based, action/horror.
