Stitch is back, causing chaos in the Disney universe, and this time, it’s all live-action.
Disney has shared a new teaser for the live-action adaptation of Lilo & Stitch, and the little blue alien is back causing destruction.
In the 30-second preview, viewers see a shot of a Disney-like sand castle with the backdrop of a beautiful blue ocean. However, the beautiful shot is destroyed when Stitch comes stomping through, smashing the castle away.

Newcomer Maia Kealoha plays Lilo in the live-action version of the Hawaii-set 2002 animated feature. The new take was originally developed for Disney+ before shifting to a theatrical release. The cast also includes Zach Galifianakis, Billy Magnussen, Sydney Agudong, Kaipo Dudoit, Tia Carrere, Courtney B. Vance, Amy Hill, Jason Scott Lee, and Hannah Waddingham.
Lilo & Stitch live-action will open on May 23, 2025.
