Here we go again, another Spider-Man anthology. I thought the whole point of having a rotating crew publish weekly issues of Amazing Spider-Man was to make it so you only had to buy one Spider-Man book. So much for that.
Story #1 is about Kaine. It fills the gap between the horrible Clone Saga era and his recent return in the pages of Amazing Spider-Man.
Story #2 is a reprint of a Spectacular Spider-Girl alternate universe story. I guess people really liked that book because it gets reprinted in all these anthologies. Someday maybe I’ll read it.
Story #3 is really the only reason to read this issue. Sean McKeever and Stephanie Buscema offer a comedic story about Frog-Man. It’s an all-ages joint. It’s good, but not great.
