These issues close out the Wolverine series–it’s replaced by “Dark Wolverine” starring Daken.
These issues have two stories. One of them is by Daniel Way and Tommy Lee Edwards and it’s completely forgettable. It’s just a launchpad for Way’s Dark Wolverine stories to come. The other story, “A Mile in my Moccasins,” may be the greatest Wolverine story of all time.
Jason Aaron and Adam Kubert–two of the industries greatest creators–first show us how Wolverine manages to be everywhere all at once. Then, in part two, he and Spider-Man have some one-on-one time. The story showcases action in part one and connection in part two. Absolutely fantastic–and they completely wash away the drab companion tale by Daniel Way.
