Professor X goes to visit the Acolytes and convinces Exodus to stop his war on mutants and to disband the group. These are really “for fans only” characters, so having a check-in with each of them is something you’re going to care about, or not–depending on how deep you go with the mutants.
Significant events in this issue include Professor X actually apologizing to Amelia Voght, which is something he never does. But of course, when he hurt her many issues ago he had been shot in the head and wasn’t in his right mind, so it doesn’t really count as an apology for something he actually did. The Professor also helps rouse Frenzy out of the coma she’s been in since [I really don’t remember how that happened].
He convinces Exodus to stop his war and inspires him to try to make the world a better place for all mutants, because their numbers are so few since M Day.
At the end, Norman Osborn arrives by helicopter to talk with X–which of course means the X-Men will get their Dark Reign tie-in next.
