A newspaper-format journal dedicated to in-depth comics criticism edited by Tiffany Babb
The Comics Courier, is one of the few projects from Kickstarter that has left a profound effect on me. Their second issue was when I joined their following, and since I received it, it has remained framed on my wall. It really is that good. I mean, take into account what it is, a format unlike many others. A newspaper delivered to your door about the current goings on of comics through the perspective of fans, and well-known writers that we have today.
I can’t recommend it enough, and for that reason, I can yell from our rooftops at ComicsBeat to back this amazing project.

Creatures, fantasy, & myth! Kingdoms clash in a world where magical creatures serve as companions to warriors & their secret ambitions.
Wild Wisps makes it return to the round-up with issue #6! It marks the explosive, double-sized finale to the first arc, packing 48 pages of sweeping fantasy and character-driven drama. If you’re a fan of sprawling, layered worlds like A Song of Ice & Fire or The Blade Itself, this issue delivers on that same promise of epic stakes and emotional depth.
At its heart, Wild Wisps follows Kino and his Wisp, Tonkarex, two broken souls bound together by loss and a dangerous secret. Their journey to join Queen Raina’s Guard collides with the brutal realities of a 20-year war, where Wisps, creatures with elemental powers ranging from helpful to god-like, are as likely to become weapons of mass destruction as companions. The stakes only heighten when Kino’s knowledge of a mythic Wisp threatens to reshape reality itself.
With stunning artwork by Nabetse Zitro and a powerhouse creative team, this finale cements Wild Wisps as a must-read modern fantasy.

An anthology comic collection homage to the retro horror magazines of the 60’s and 70’s celebrating the iconic myth of the Werewolf!
This October, the howl returns. The Werewolf Lives! Horror Comic Anthology Magazine is a 100+ page ode to the definitive creature of the night, crafted by lifelong horror fans Nicholas Aaron Hodge and K.M. Lightfoot.
Inspired by classics like Creepy, Fangoria, and Tales from the Crypt, this anthology brings together a collection of modern werewolf stories that honor the myth while pushing it into new, terrifying territory. The book embraces the striking Black, White & Blood style, hand-drawn black-and-white interiors with haunting red accents. That heightens both atmosphere and carnage.
Alongside its original stories, the anthology digs into the werewolf’s history in popular media, making this both a celebration and reimagining of the beast.
