DC Comics is sending more than four dozen Absolute Universe titles back for another print run.

Per AIPT Comics, DC Comics is set to give fans the chance to collect nearly every single Absolute Universe title in less than one month. The upcoming reprints of a whopping 50 Absolute Universe titles begin on March 4, when 35 individual comics return to stores with their latest printings.

Of these titles are the first 14 issues of Absolute Batman, with Absolute Batman #1 slated for its 11th printing. The first 11 issues of Absolute Wonder Woman and the first 10 issues of Absolute Superman will also be arriving in stores on the same day, with most arriving as third prints of their respective issues.

Two weeks later, on March 18, the first five issues of Absolute Flash will return to comic book stores. These will be joined by the first four issues of Absolute Green Lantern, as well as the first six issues of the critically-acclaimed and mind-bending Absolute Martian Manhunter.

Absolute Universe Has Changed DC Comics Forever

This staggering run of Absolute Universe reprints will arrive less than two months before the first collected editions of Absolute Batman, Absolute Wonder Woman, and Absolute Superman. The three collected editions, entitled Absolute Superman Vol. 1: Last Dust of Krypton, Absolute Batman Vol. 1: The Zoo, and Absolute Wonder Woman Vol. 1: The Last Amazon, are already hotly-anticipated collectors items of their own, largely due to the stunning dust jacket covers that adorn them, each of which was illustrated by all-star artist and DC Comics chief creative officer Jim Lee.

While the success of the Absolute Universe line of titles has been overwhelming, fans are already growing wary of what appears to be its impending conclusion. Back in November 2025, Absolute Batman scribe Scott Snyder, who also serves as one of the main architects of the Absolute Universe as a whole, gave fans an idea of when they might be able to expect the series to come to a close. However, the final issues of the Absolute Universe are still a distant thought, and the storytelling that has reshaped the DC Comics universe for the modern age continues to press on with each issue.

Snyder said at the time that he and artist Nick Dragotta "know the big final chapter of it," and that Absolute Batman has been mapped out to somewhere between 35 and 40 issues in total. Snyder went on to state, "I hope it reminds people that these characters are meant to be renewed. They're meant to be burned down and put together. Batman weaponizes his trauma to make the world better, that's how he wins."

The first wave of upcoming Absolute Universe reprints will arrive in comic book stores everywhere on March 4.
