1 day ago 3

Neon Ichiban, the new digital comics platform from former Comixology execs David Steinberger and Chip Mosher, is making some moves following their private beta debut last week. They’ve announced both Dynamite and Titan Comics will be available on the new platform.

A public beta will be arriving soon.

The moves come as the digital comics landscape is heating up.

The Titan Comics digital catalog will include Conan the BarbarianDoctor WhoBlade Runner, and much more along with creator-owned essentials like Tank Girl and Lenore.

“Titan has always strived to celebrate both pop culture’s most iconic franchises and the bold visions of groundbreaking creators,” Titan Comics Publicity Manager, Will O’Mullane. “Partnering with Neon Ichiban gives us the opportunity to bring that spectrum of storytelling—from Conan to Tank Girl—to fans everywhere in a way that’s seamless, innovative, and built for the future of comics.”

Dynamite’s digital offerings will similarly span a waide array of licensed  – Supernatural, Project Superpowers, The Terminator, Peter Cannon, ThunderCats, Red Sonja, James Bond, Army of Darkness, Space Ghost, Disney titles, and Vampirella – and creator owned material, such as The Boyd.

“Dynamite has always been committed to world building and delivering unforgettable stories, from redefining icons like Vampirella, ThunderCats and Red Sonja to breakout hits like The Boys and many other iconic characters,” said Nick Barrucci, CEO & Publisher of Dynamite Entertainment. “Partnering with Neon Ichiban lets us expand that legacy and bring our comics to fans worldwide on the most innovative digital platform.”

Neon Ichiban is offering same-day-as-print comics, manga, collections, and graphic novels, including always-available standard editions – that much is what most digital comics platform offer. But they will also feature limited-edition variants and sketch covers, and for some publishers, digital signatures and remarques from top creators, making these digital comics one of a kind collectibles.

Other publishers joining Neon Ichiban on launch include Dark Horse, DC, DSTLRY, Kodansha, Marvel, Oni Press, and Vault Comics.
