G.I. Combat v1 #69, 1959 - The Navy Cross, the Silver Star and the Medal of Honor are prominently featured in this issue's lead story. Joe Kubert draws three separate acts of bravery preceding the medals being awarded. His artwork is appropriately solemn and respectful in tone. Meanwhile, the reader becomes a little more educated about formal military recognition. Other artists in this issue include Russ Heath.
