Iron Man has just given the heroes of the Marvel Universe everything they need to beat Kraven's Predator army.

A preview of Predator Kills the Marvel Universe #5 (by Benjamin Percy, Marcelo Ferreira, Daniel Picciotto, Brent Peeples, Jay Leisten, Frank D'Armata, and VC's Clayton Cowles) from Marvel Comics opens to the sight of Tony Stark, Peter Parker, and Logan stepping into a lab within the currently burning Stark Tower. There, Tony outfits his fellow Avengers with Iron Man suits of their own, and that might just be all they need to turn the tide of battle against Kraven and his invading Predator army.

The official solicit synopsis for Predator Kills the Marvel Universe #5 from Marvel Comics reads, "The Predators launched their bloody war with surprise and success — and now Earth's survivors have mounted their defense, which includes specially outfitted Iron Man armor, a vibranium arsenal, a weapon called Predator X and a whole lot of heart. Will our planet be reduced to a hunting reserve? Find out in this final, epic showdown!"

Predator Kills the Marvel Universe #5 marks the finale of one of the most brutal comic book crossovers of the decade. Beginning in 2023's Predator vs. Wolverine, writer Benjamin Percy's ongoing saga has seen some of the most capable heroes in the entire Marvel Universe take on all manner of Yautja threats, ranging from more ordinary Predators to the overtly malevolent Skinner.

Along the way, the invading Yautja forces have discovered an unlikely kindred spirit in the form of Kraven the Hunter, who might just be the closest thing the Marvel Universe has had to its own Predator before the current conflict began. With Kraven's knowledge of the various heroes standing in their way, the Yautja army has been able to easily cut down heroes ranging from the X-Men to the Mighty Thor himself.

Ahead of the release of Predator Kills the Marvel Universe #1, writer Benjamin Percy discussed the overarching Predator vs. narrative and all the gruesome heartbreak it has in store for readers, explaining that "These stories have been patiently building toward something epic. Their interconnectedness will be revealed in this explosive, blood-drenched, five-part story."

"That title? It's not misdirection. This one's gonna hurt. Your favorite heroes and villains will fall, even as others rise up against this extinction-level event. The Predator King is here, the Yautja are armed with vibranium, and Earth is now a hunting preserve."

Predator Kills the Marvel Universe #5 goes on sale December 31 from Marvel Comics.
