Jordan Iacobucci has been an avid reader and movie fan since childhood. Jordan is known among his friends as the Marvel and Star Wars nerd, and even wrote a thirty-page college dissertation about Spider-Man! He has been a staff writer at both Screen Rant and CBR, where he enjoys sharing his love for pop culture with the world.
Just days after the Marvel Cinematic Universe dropped the hit series on Disney+, Wonder Man is already launching one of its fan-favorite characters into the stratosphere. Now, a surprise standout from the new miniseries is about to return in his own story.
Marvel Comics has announced that DeMarr Davis, a.k.a. the Doorman, is officially set to return in his own Infinity Comic. Doorman Infinity Comic (2026) #1 follows Davis as he takes a superhero job interview to the next level by giving his potential employer a firsthand demonstration of his incredible abilities, taking them on a trip to New York City, the Savage Land, and even Latveria.
The Infinity Comic will be penned by Cody Ziglar with art from Julian Shaw. The comic is exclusive to the Marvel Unlimited app, where it is currently available to read. This one-shot comes just days after DeMarr Davis made his live-action debut in the fourth episode of Wonder Man, appropriately titled "Doorman." Following his newfound popularity, Doorman may be on the verge of a much bigger career in the Marvel Universe.
Will Doorman Ever Return to the MCU?

In the MCU, DeMarr gets his powers of teleportation after coming in contact with toxic waste from a Roxxon dumpster. He rapidly becomes a cultural phenomenon, only to watch everything he built come crashing down when he accidentally makes actor Josh Gad disappear while filming an action scene in their film, Cash Grab 2.
Audiences never learn what happened to the Doorman after the J-Gad incident. The only reference to his character thereafter is the "Doorman Clause," which prohibits any superpowered individuals from working on Hollywood film sets. With this policy in place, it's safe to assume that Doorman retired to a life of obscurity. However, he could still have a future as a part of the MCU.
In Marvel Comics, Doorman is best known as a member of the Great Lakes Avengers, a team of underwhelming superheroes who struggle to live up to the "Avengers" title. He is the second member of the team to be introduced in a recent MCU show after Mister Immortal made his debut in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. Given the popularity of both characters after their respective live-action appearances, a Great Lakes Avengers team-up wouldn't be out of the question for the MCU.
Wonder Man is also one of the most popular Marvel Disney+ series in recent memory, scoring mostly positive reviews from critics and audiences alike. Given the reception to this unassuming miniseries, Marvel may want to capitalize on its success by including more of its characters in future projects, including the Doorman himself.
Wonder Man is now streaming on Disney+.
