Fans of fine art are going to be in luck at New York Comic Con. Alex Ross, renowned painter and comic book artist, has announced he’s bringing his wildly popular Marvelocity exhibit to this year’s New York Comic Con.
Featuring over 100 of the original pieces included in Marvelocity: The Marvel Art of Alex Ross, the exhibit will be on the Javits Center showfloor at Ross’ booth (Booth #3225). In addition to the exhibit itself, Alex Ross and his team will be offering prints and collectibles made exclusively for this year’s NYCC. These exclusive prints include MARVELOCITY: Captain America, MARVELOCITY: Doctor Strange, and MARVELOCITY: Spider-Man, and start at $195 each.
“The MARVELOCITY exhibit started touring a few years ago and has been a hit everywhere it’s been, so bringing it to NYCC is a real thrill for us at Alex Ross Art,” Ross’s art dealer Sal Abbinanti offered in a press release. “We’re happy to share this incredible exhibit with all the NYCC attendees this year. All you need is a badge to get into the convention, so set aside some time and stop by to admire the magnificent works of Alex Ross and maybe pick up a piece to hang on your wall!”
The exhibit includes the original paintings themselves in addition to process pieces and other behind-the-scenes snapshots of Ross’ artistic process. It will also include some never-before-seen pieces as well. More details on the exclusives at the Marvelocity booth can be found below.
Alongside the exhibition at Alex Ross Art booth #3225, Alex Ross Art will release a series of NYCC 2025 exclusive prints and collectibles, including a small quantity of limited-edition fine art pieces available only at this event. These include MARVELOCITY: Captain America, MARVELOCITY: Doctor Strange, and MARVELOCITY: Spider-Man starting at $195 each. Each exclusive includes a Certificate of Authenticity and represents a piece of comic book history.
