Oni Press' final Rick and Morty comic book series is about to start the back end of the series, with the release of the fourth issue next week. We gave the third issue a great review at CBR, as it continues a bold new storyline for the famous duo. We have previously shared the solicitation for the fourth issue, and the solicitation for the fifth issue, and now, we have, with Oni's May 2026 solicitations out there, we have the solicitation for the final issue of Rick and Morty: The End, as well as some looks at the covers for the issue.
Rick and Morty: The End is from writer Daniel Kibblesmith and artist Jarrett Williams, and it serves a followup to the crossover event, Rick and Morty Versus the Universe, where Rick ran afoul of not just HIS universe, but ALL universes, and Rick is now an enemy of the Multiverse as a whole, and since this is the end of Rick and Morty at Oni, things don't look great for Rick.

What has happened so far in the first three issues of Rick and Morty: The End?
In the first issue of the series, Morty was threatened by the Multiverse. The various universe told him that they would eradicate all versions of Morty in the universe if he didn't hunt down his grandfather for them. Morty agreed, and he tracked down Rick's favorite interdimensional TV characters. They attacked him, cutting off his arm, and almost killing him, but Morty fought back, and took them all down.
He was then met by his ex-girlfriend, Planetina, who was working for the Multiverse, as well, as the leader of a new team of Vindicators (calling themselves the VinRicktators). Planetina fixed Morty's arm, and she revealed that this was a test to see if Morty was really committed. They actually knew where Rick was, and now Morty could work with them to bring Rick down. Of course, once they found Rick, Morty sided with his grandfather, and turned on the Vindicators.
Rick was hiding in a perfect vision of what his life could be like. The Vindicators killed Rick's perfect alternate reality family, but RIck then defeated them. However, eventually, they escaped the trap that Rick had put them in, and Rick shocked everyone by surrendering at the end of Rick and Morty: The End #3!
