Per FlixPatrol, Rick and Morty is currently in the Top 10 TV Shows on Netflix in over 30 countries with an average chart position of 6.5. The new surge in streaming comes months after the conclusion of Season 8 of Rick and Morty, which ran from May 2025 to July of last year. As the show continues its successful streaming run, its comic book adventures have begun to wind down, with Rick and Morty: The End #1 releasing in December 2025. The television has already been renewed through to Season 10, so fans can rest easily knowing that more animated hijinks are planned for the future.

Details of the series were teased last year, with the publisher sharing: "This title is not some kind of artful metaphor, folks! After 10 years and 100+ issues, the beginning of The End starts here as acclaimed writer Daniel Kibblesmith (Loki) and artistic annihilator Jarrett Williams (Speed Force) prepare to unleash a fantastically fatal finale for Rick and Morty!"
Rick and Morty: The End #1 went on sale on Dec. 3, 2025, with Rick facing his most dire situation yet. "Rick Sanchez, the most wanted man in this and every other universe, is on the run. With a bounty on his head, every government, military, pirate, mobster, bounty hunter, bail bondsman, religious institution, theater troupe, circus clown, and endangered species is on the hunt to bring in Rick – Dead or Alive," Oni Press's solicit teased.
"The only one who can bring Rick in warm is the one person who knows him best: Morty Smith. But Morty's not the only Smith hot on Rick's trail ... 'Space Beth' Smith is determined to bring Rick in, and she doesn't particularly care how. Now it's just a question of who can get to him first…!"
Rick and Morty Comics Promise a 'Cataclysmic Finale'
Image via Adult SwimOni Press' Rick and Morty comics have been going for a decade now, using the television series' premise of there being multiple, alternate realities as a way to explore the sci-fi show's fun world without stepping on or contradicting its continuity. The comics often feature sequel storylines to episodes of the show or reference its events, all while putting their own twist on things.
As the comics prepare to come to an end, Oni Press reveals that there will be plenty of action in store. "The End begins the next must-read chapter in Kibblesmith and Williams' groundbreaking re-evolution of Rick and Morty," a press release shared by Oni Press teased. "[It] sets the stage for a cataclysmic finale the likes of which this dimension … or the next one … or the one after that … has never experienced."
Rick and Morty is now streaming on Netflix. Rick and Morty: The End #1 is now on sale from Oni Press.
