This is the final arc of the season. Marvel brings in yet another creative team to try to save this once-amazing book, but it’s not enough and it’s too late.
There’s some good stuff in this final, where a strange, unmanned aircraft crashes into their base and they’re forced to cannibalize its tech to escape corrupt soldiers who are sent on a retrieval mission. Old Lace seems to die (her death will later be un-done) and Chase goes missing but in the final panel we see that he’s in the hospital.
This is actually a solid showing for a book that hasn’t been good for long time.
