Tarzan v1 #129, 1962 - The peoples of Aba-Zulu and Tungelu formally merge their kingdoms, ruled by both Brothers of the Spear and their queens Zulena and Tavane. Post celebration, a tall outlander arrives and puts Natongo under his spell. The artwork contains a high level of effort and detail, thanks to Russ Manning. His figure drawings and clothing design nicely capture the exotic locale (see interior page below). Jesse Marsh draws the main Tarzan feature. Painted cover.
